Stockton Parent Support

Stockton Parent Support is a group of parents with disabled children.  Stockton Parent Support formed in June 1999 and became a registered charity in May 2004.  They are an umbrella group for the parent led support groups in Stockton.  Stockton Parent Support aim to: 

• Promote and develop parents' ideas for improving the services and opportunties for children with disabilities in Stockton-on-Tees.
• Provide Information, Support, Activities and Participation opportunities for disabled children and their families.

Stockton Parent Support run information days, professional forums, training for parents and volunteers.  They have developed inclusive activities so that children can learn and play alongside other children.  Stockton Parent Support are always looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help at these activities.  Training and regular support is provided to each volunteer.
